If you had support from Dataminr’s team of AI researchers to leverage text, image, video, audio, or sensor data to support your mission, what would you want to do?
Dataminr’s AI for Good program partners social impact organizations with Dataminr AI scientists to turn compelling ideas with social impact into tailored AI solutions.
Each year, Dataminr opens a public call for proposals, selecting a few organizations with which to partner pro bono to build solutions that deliver on AI’s potential to benefit society and the planet.
UN Human Rights partnered with Dataminr on an AI model to identify and classify attacks on human rights defenders at scale. Leveraging this AI model, UN Human Rights has improved detection of attacks by over 100-fold, shining a stronger light on the issue and, hopefully, creating a safer space for human rights advocacy.
Insecurity Insight worked with Dataminr on an AI solution to identify violence against civilians and damage to civilian infrastructure. Insecurity Insight has seen a 20-fold increase in the number of relevant events detected since deploying this model, helping their humanitarian partners on the ground to know sooner and act faster.
Ushahidi partnered with Dataminr to automate the categorization and geo-location of crowdsourced information. Ushahidi can now process millions of crowdsourced reports within hours instead of weeks, allowing them to shift their valuable limited resources from data management to insight generation and impact.
Once per year, Dataminr opens a public call for proposals for AI for Good projects. Select organizations get a pro-bono technical grant—plus the opportunity to partner with our AI research team. Together, they develop cutting-edge AI tools to help program partners scale their impact.
